We are excited to invite you to a unique experiment: Muflon, a DIY community gathering in the woods of Czechia. It is taking place on

19.-21. June 2026

near Brno, Czech Republic

Many of us have cherished childhood memories from summer camps filled with adventure and learning. As grown-ups, we enjoy going to festivals to unwind & experience culture, but we are mostly there to consume and be entertained - there is no active part for us to play. Coming back home, we often find ourselves exhausted and overstimulated.

What if we could recreate that unique feeling of a summer camp? What if, like before, we could come back home full of new ideas, learnings and lasting friendships? What if we escaped the cycle of consumption and created our own space for fun, leisure and sharing?

Muflon is a chance for us to make that a reality. In the longest days of the year, we will embark on a communal adventure each of us can contribute to - no backstage passes, no audience, only people creating their own experience.

What to expect?

A relaxed weekend in a small community in nature (~100 people max). An exciting programme including sports, arts & crafts, workshops, music & other performance art, film, food & drinks. There are ample opportunities for walks, hikes and swimming in the area around Zouvalka. We plan to have a fixed schedule with morning exercises, eating meals together & a storyline experienced together throughout the weekend. However, everyone is free to join/skip parts of the programme as they like.

How much will it cost?

Depending on the amount of funding we secure, we’re aiming for a base ticket price of 80-100€ (1950 - 2500 CZK) for 3 days including accommodation & food. The price will be adjusted depending on the chosen accommodation option. We will offer reduced solidarity prices for those experiencing financial hardship.

Who’s coming?

We are first reaching out to our friends & broader community across Czechia, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. However, we also intend to open up the event to the public. Everyone is welcome!

How can I help?

This is a DIY project by us & for us - we encourage you to share whatever skill, idea or talent you might want to bring. We aim to compensate all contributors to the programme.

How do I get there?

Muflon takes place a 10-minute walk from the “Lávka pod Hradem” bus stop, reachable by public transit or taxi from Brno’s city centre. Frequent trains to Brno run from Prague, Vienna, Bratislava and Berlin.

What does accommodation look like?

You can either use shared accommodation (pre-pitched scout tents + cabins) or bring your own tent. There are several parking spots for cars & vans.

Is this a family-friendly event?

Muflon’s aim is to reinvent the children’s summer camp for a community of adults, and the programme will not be suitable for children.

Are we going to party?

Inevitably, when a group of adults gathers in a nice place with music, there will be drinking and other kinds of communal revelry. However, Muflon is not a festival nor a rave, and we would like to provide a welcoming environment to those who might want to relax and get a good night’s sleep.
